It was necessary to completely renew the installations to meet the needs of a modern restaurant. The traditional structure of the building was preserved to maintain the character of the island’s typical architecture. Local and simple materials were used, such as large-format porcelain flooring and stone walls rendered with lime mortar.
The ceiling beams were stripped to recover the natural tone of the wood. The project included the addition of steel and iron structures, highlighting the galvanized steel bar and the custom-made backlit iron back bar. The window and door frames were stripped and painted in a turquoise green to retain the Mediterranean essence.
The interior decoration included built-in benches in the Ibicenco style, “jellyfish-style” lamps made in local shops, solid oak wood tables inside, Nardi chairs, and some LED lighting elements in fuchsia and blue tones, integrating signature elements of the CEVITXEF brand.
